The award recognizes companies that have used the latest technologies to create outstanding fully automated or semi-automated cargo handling systems for airports, with ALS topping the polls to win a most-coveted prize.

The TLME Excellence Awards 2019 were the first to utilise a public voting system which proved highly popular and meant the winners acquire even more kudos. TLME CEO Sam Kham said: “Each of the nominees has shown how the use of automation technologies have benefited the air cargo chain in terms of speed, safety and accuracy of air cargo handling. “An easy to operate man-machine interface was a key factor in choosing each of the nominees, as well as ease of integration, and it seems our voters decided ALS was the all-round champ.”
